About the Community of Practice
The ACCESS Community of Practice (CoP) brings together people and institutions working on digitalisation and sustainable mobility to exchange ideas, validate practice, and support scaling of low-carbon digital mobility solutions across the region. It is the main platform for turning implementation experience into shared learning and regional value.
The purpose of the Community of Practice is to create a structured regional space for peer learning, technical dialogue, and exchange. It supports users in discussing implementation challenges, sharing practical lessons, and identifying solutions and approaches that may be relevant in other contexts.
The Community of Practice is open to a broad range of users, including policy-makers, city practitioners, transport authorities and operators, researchers, partner organisations, universities, civil society, and private sector actors. It is designed for anyone interested in how digitalisation can support more inclusive, efficient, and low-carbon urban mobility.
The CoP connects knowledge, learning, implementation, and exchange. It draws on ACCESS knowledge products and learning activities, brings in implementation experience from countries and cities, and creates space for peer discussion and validation. In this way, it supports both immediate exchange and longer-term scaling.
Members of the Community of Practice can engage through thematic discussions, exchange sessions, workshops, peer learning activities, and shared access to relevant tools, resources, and implementation insights.
The Community of Practice helps participants stay connected to emerging practice, learn from real implementation experience, test ideas with peers, and access knowledge that can inform planning, delivery, and scaling in their own contexts.
The Community of Practice forms part of the wider ACCESS knowledge-to-action system. It connects directly to tools and guides, learning pathways, courses, implementation cases, and regional upscaling processes, ensuring that local lessons do not remain isolated but contribute to wider regional use and adaptation.
Through its activities, the CoP generates a range of practical outputs, including session summaries, case examples, thematic reflections, curated resources, and links to relevant ACCESS tools and learning materials.
